Scope

Standardization of calculation methods for all types of rolling bearings including components incorporating rolling elements and plain bearings with spherical contact surface.

Assessment of operation conditions, including characterisation of lubrication and friction, especially life and damage prediction based on common failure modes and determination of bearing characteristic values, like load ratings; further including validation methods and field performance evaluation
